"An Apple" by Sean O'Grady

Apples are apples. An apple is an apple. American some say but where are they from?

Adam and Eve ate an apple but really they made love. Apples, haha. That would be funny to use as a code word for sex. "Honey, I have an apple for you."

Green apples are nice and sour, red apples are sweet. The combination is what I'm about. Get that red green combo apple and you have the best of both. Gala baby. Gimme dat Gala apple.

They are good for you too. But like anything too much is too much. I used to lounge in my gram gram's backyard eating apples off her tree. My moms would come out and say I should be careful not to eat too much. I never remember eating too much.

Some things in my life I've had too much off. Once I got out of high school and had my own place I definitely over did all breakfast cereals. I have over done chocolate chip cookie dough (remember the cookie dough tubes?). I have over done black licorice (natural laxative, who knew?). Have over done Ramen, pizza, all mexican food, ALSO taco bell, chicken tenders, corn dogs, and blue berries.

Things that I have yet to over do: includes apples, gushers, and Martinelli's Sparking Apple Juice.

Thanks for the inspiration Missile Notes. I now crave an apple.
